One dead, two injured
One Dead and Two Injured in a Car Crash in Princeton
According to North Carolina State Highway Patrol Troopers, a fatal car crash occurred on Wednesday evening in Princeton. The incident resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others.
The accident took place near Princeton Church on NC Highway 70. A grandmother and her juvenile grandson were traveling eastbound when they attempted to cross the highway into the church's parking lot. Unfortunately, a van traveling westbound collided with their SUV's passenger side.
Tragically, the grandmother was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, both the juvenile passenger and van driver were transported to an area hospital for treatment; however, their current conditions are unknown.
