1 hospitalized after semi crash in Butler Township

One person transported to the hospital
A person was taken to the hospital after a semi crashed in Butler Township on Friday morning. The incident occurred on the ramp from I-75 SB to I-70 EB after the semi went through the barrier wall, according to a social media post from the Huber Heights Fire Division, which assisted Butler Twp. on the crash.
The driver was able to exit the semi, and one person was transported to the hospital, according to fire crews. The extent of their injuries has not been released. Crews were able to prevent engine fluids from entering the storm drains, the post said.
As of the time of writing, the I-75 South ramp to I-70 East remains closed.
The Huber Heights Fire Division shared photos of the incident on their social media page.
