One Person Killed and Another Injured in Pickens County Crash
A fatal crash occurred on Thursday afternoon in Pickens County, South Carolina, leaving one person dead and another injured. The accident happened on Gentry Memorial Highway at Rice Road.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2004 Lincoln Navigator was traveling east while a 2008 Nissan Titan truck was heading west on Highway 8. Troopers reported that the Nissan truck crossed over the center line and collided with the Lincoln.
The driver of the Lincoln died at the scene of the accident while the driver of the Nissan truck was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment. No further information has been released about their current condition.
