10-year-old boy pronounced dead at the scene
A 10-year-old boy from Festus, Missouri has tragically passed away following a UTV crash on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred in Ste. Genevieve County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report, a 12-year-old boy from Valle Mines was driving the UTV in a field when he attempted to make a U-turn causing it to roll over. The younger boy was the passenger and unfortunately died at the scene of the accident.
Despite the rollover, there was no damage done to the vehicle and it was driven away from the scene afterwards.
The cause of this tragic accident is still under investigation by local authorities.
