Louisiana boy Adrian Fajardo fighting for life after ice cream truck crashes into his bedroom

A 12-year-old boy from Louisiana is in critical condition after an ice cream truck crashed into his bedroom on Saturday afternoon. According to Kenner police, the driver of the ice cream truck may have suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle while traveling down the road.
The crash occurred when Adrian Fajardo was playing video games in his bedroom. The ice cream truck crashed into his family's apartment, striking him and trapping him under rubble for 40 minutes before first responders could find him.
Adrian suffered a fractured skull and broken limbs as a result of the accident. He is currently receiving treatment at Children’s Hospital ICU.
The driver of the truck was also hospitalized following the incident, according to police reports.

As per their latest update on GoFundMe, they are overwhelmed by all love and support they have received so far from people across different communities who have donated generously towards their cause.
