16-Month-Old Toddler Killed in Truck Accident in Oceanside

A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday night in Oceanside, California, where a 16-month-old toddler lost their life after being struck by a truck. The Oceanside Police Department confirmed that the accident took place in a residential community.
According to authorities, the driver of the truck was returning home from work when the incident happened at approximately 3:39 p.m. The child unexpectedly ran out in front of the vehicle, and despite efforts to avoid the collision, they were hit. Sadly, the toddler was pronounced dead at the scene.
News Flash Media captured footage showing traffic investigators surrounding an older model Ford F-150 pickup truck involved in the accident. Several investigation markers were placed across the roadway as part of their examination.
Law enforcement officials have stated that there is no evidence suggesting speeding or impairment due to drugs or alcohol played a role in this tragedy. However, they are currently investigating further to determine what caused this devastating crash.
