17-Year-Old from Union Killed in Single-Car Crash

A tragic incident occurred on Saturday night when a 17-year-old from Union lost his life in a single-car crash. The accident took place on Liberty School Road in Franklin County, Missouri.

As per the report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the teenager was driving late at night when he veered off the road and collided with a tree. The crash happened around 11:45 p.m., and unfortunately, it proved to be fatal for him.

Despite wearing a seatbelt during the accident, he sustained severe injuries that required immediate medical attention. An ARCH Air Medical helicopter transported him to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The authorities have not yet released any further information regarding what caused this unfortunate event. Our thoughts are with the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
