18-wheeler overturns, closes eastbound lanes of Katy Freeway in Houston

An overturned 18-wheeler caused the closure of several eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway at Wood Road in Waller County on Friday afternoon, according to Houston TranStar. The accident involved three vehicles, including the heavy truck and was reported at 1:32 p.m.

As a result of the incident, all main lanes were closed while crews worked to clear debris from the road. Emergency vehicles responded to the scene immediately. It is currently unknown if any injuries were reported as a result of this accident.

This incident resulted in significant traffic delays for commuters traveling through this section of Waller County.
