18-wheeler semi-truck overturns in Tallahassee wreck

All westbound lanes on the roadway are closed and troopers are working to reroute traffic.

An 18-wheeler semi-truck overturned after colliding with multiple vehicles on I-10 westbound near mile markers 195 and 197 in Tallahassee, Florida. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. Friday and the cause of the wreck is still under investigation, according to Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Patricia Jefferson-Shaw.

The number of people injured and their extent are yet to be determined as investigators continue their work at the scene. All westbound lanes have been closed while troopers reroute traffic.

Fire crews used a crane to get the truck upright, said FHP.
