19-Year-Old Woman Killed in Crash on Garden State Parkway in Stafford

A devastating accident on the Garden State Parkway claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman from Egg Harbor. According to State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 6:27 p.m. on Saturday when a Honda Civic veered off the road, overturned, and slid down an embankment. The victim, identified as Jessica Molina-Colmenares, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
The fatal accident took place on the southbound side of the Parkway at milepost 64.4 in Stafford. Sgt. Philip Curry of the state police confirmed that Molina-Colmenares was a passenger in the car while its driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
In response to this tragic event, authorities closed down one lane of traffic for about an hour causing moderate congestion in that area.
