Two people taken to the hospital with unknown injuries
Two individuals have been transported to the hospital following a two-car collision with ejection on Highway 554 in the Loris area. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon near Highway 554 and Cleveland Drive, prompting a response from Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR).
According to HCFR, at least one person was ejected from their vehicle during the crash. The extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time.
Authorities are urging drivers to avoid the area to prevent further delays and ensure the safety of those involved in the accident. Both the Horry County Police Department and South Carolina Highway Patrol are assisting with investigations into the cause of the collision.
