20-year-old man killed in car collision in East Haven

The male driver was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he later died.
A 20-year-old man from Madison was killed in a car collision early Saturday morning in East Haven, Connecticut. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Foxon Road at around 1:33 a.m.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found that the vehicle had struck a utility pole on the south side of Foxon Road. The male driver was treated by the East Haven Fire Department and transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he later died.
The victim's identity has not been released by police as investigations are still ongoing. However, they have confirmed that he was driving west on Foxon Road when his car crossed over double yellow lines and hit a utility pole near Circle Drive.
