20-year-old man killed in three-vehicle crash near Bridgeville

Police continue to investigate this crash
A 20-year-old man from Charleroi, Pennsylvania lost his life in a three-vehicle crash near Bridgeville on Friday night. The accident occurred at around 11:53 p.m. when a 2021 Jeep Wrangler traveling west on Seashore Highway crossed the double-yellow center lines and sideswiped a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was heading east towards Woodenhawk Road. A Dodge Avenger following behind the Silverado was also hit by the Jeep after it crashed into the front of the car, causing it to overturn.
According to Delaware State Police, "the driver of the Jeep crossed the double-yellow center lines for 'unknown reasons'". The impact caused serious injuries to one passenger in the Dodge who was taken to a local hospital while others involved in this incident were uninjured or received non-life-threatening injuries.
