Arkansas 3-Year-Old Dies After Being Hit by Car in Dunklin County
DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening in Dunklin County, Missouri, where a 3-year-old boy from Beach Grove, Arkansas, lost his life after being hit by a pickup truck. The accident took place near Cardwell, Missouri, around 6 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 69-year-old man was driving the pickup truck and made a right turn, hitting the boy in the driveway of a home on Route AC. Sgt. Parrott with MSHP Troop E confirmed the incident and stated that the boy was pronounced dead at a hospital in Paragould, Arkansas.
The crash marks the 17th fatal crash for MSHP Troop E in 2023. The authorities have not released the names of the victim or the driver.
