3-Year-Old Dies After Being Ejected From Vehicle During Collision in Waco

The child was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
According to Waco police, a 3-year-old girl died after being thrown out of a vehicle during a collision. The incident occurred on May 18th in the 1700 Block of South 17th Street at Clay Avenue.
The driver of a Chevrolet Lumina was traveling eastbound when they disregarded the traffic light and collided with two vehicles traveling northbound on S. 17th Street. Unfortunately, the toddler was not properly secured in the car and was ejected from it during the crash. Tragically, that same vehicle landed on top of her.
Witnesses who were present at the scene lifted the car off of her and began performing life-saving measures until emergency services arrived. Despite their efforts, she succumbed to her injuries while being transported to a local hospital.
Police have decided not to release any information about her identity due to her age. No charges have been filed as yet regarding this accident.
