60-year-old Lawrenceburg man dies in overnight crash

The 60-year-old motorist was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office, a 60-year-old man from Lawrenceburg died in an overnight crash in southeastern Indiana. The accident occurred on Stateline Road just before 10 p.m. on Sunday when the man was driving southbound and began drifting left of center north of Megrue Drive. His vehicle sideswiped a car driven by a 16-year-old before colliding with the front of a truck driven by a 20-year-old.
Bright EMS arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving measures but were unable to save the motorist who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name has not been released yet.
The other two drivers involved in this accident, both from West Harrison, cooperated with investigators according to sheriff officials. Deputies asked for assistance from Indiana State Police reconstructionists to help investigate this fatal crash.
Stateline Road remained closed for about four hours until authorities completed their investigation at the scene.
