Accident Involving Box Truck and SUV Temporarily Shuts Down Jefferson Road

An accident between a box truck and an SUV resulted in the temporary closure of Jefferson Road earlier today. The incident occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation and are currently working diligently to clear the area by removing the box truck involved in the collision. According to officers present at the scene, it was reported that the driver of the box truck sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, no injuries were reported for the other driver involved in this unfortunate incident.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when passing through this area as traffic may still be affected due to ongoing cleanup efforts following this morning's accident.
