Accident Involving Overturned Vehicle Injures Multiple People

An accident involving an overturned vehicle has caused a traffic delay and injured at least five people on Monday morning. The incident occurred on I-565 near the Greenbriar exit in Huntsville, Alabama.
According to HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster, all the injured have been transported to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services for treatment. "Huntsville Fire and Rescue was on the scene to get a person who was trapped in one of the vehicles," he added.
The cause of the accident is yet unknown, but drivers should expect delays as crews continue to clear the scene. News 19 will provide updates as they become available.
