Adam Jackson Killed in Crash Involving Trash Truck

A fatal crash occurred in Jay, Oklahoma on Wednesday involving a trash truck, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The incident is currently under investigation.
The victim has been identified as Adam Jackson, a 31-year-old resident of Jay. Tragically, he lost his life at the scene of the accident. The crash took place on U.S. 59, approximately five miles north of Jay.
Reports indicate that Jackson had stopped his car in order to make a left-hand turn at the Zena turnoff when he was struck from behind by George Beard, a 55-year-old also from Jay. Beard was driving a 2019 Mack Trash truck at the time of the collision.
Fortunately, neither Beard nor his passenger Joseph Wallace, aged 23 and also from Jay, sustained any injuries as a result of the crash.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is actively investigating this tragic incident to determine its cause and gather further details surrounding the circumstances leading up to it.
