Denis Lima Dies After Being Hit by Truck While Riding Bicycle

Denis Lima was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
An Albertville man lost his life on Saturday night after being hit by a truck while riding his bicycle. The accident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Hwy 431 near the intersection of Motley Street, according to the Albertville Police Department (APD).
The victim was identified as Denis Lima, aged 59 years old. He was immediately taken to Marshall Medical Center South but unfortunately passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Authorities are still investigating what led to this fatal collision between Lima and a 2002 Ford F-150. However, they have stated that no criminal charges are expected at this time.
