Amazon semi-truck crashes into building in Manteca, driver found with gunshot wound

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Manteca, California. An Amazon semi-truck crashed into a building after going off the road on northbound I-5, south of Louise Avenue. The driver was found with a gunshot wound.
According to CHP, officers received a call around 12:50 p.m. for shots fired after the big rig went off the road and hit two parked cars before crashing into a building. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered that the driver had been shot.
The driver was taken to an unknown hospital in an unknown condition. There is no information available yet about any suspects involved in this incident.
