Amish Boy Samuel K. Fisher Killed in Vehicle Accident in Drumore Township

An Amish boy tragically lost his life on Friday in Drumore Township after being struck by a passing vehicle. The incident occurred near the boy's home on Slate Hill Road, according to Lancaster County Coroner Stephen Diamantoni. Identified as Samuel K. Fisher, an 11-year-old who was riding a scooter at the time of the accident.
Diamantoni stated that Fisher suffered multiple traumatic injuries from the collision and ruled his death as accidental. The young boy's obituary reveals that he is survived by his parents, four siblings, and three grandparents. Fisher was an active member of an Old Order Amish church.
To honor and bid farewell to Samuel K. Fisher, a funeral service was held on Monday with interment taking place at Wakefield Amish Cemetery.
