An Athens woman lost her life on Saturday night after a single-vehicle accident that occurred in Limestone County. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) identified the victim as Jessica N. Wise, aged 36.

The incident took place on Alabama State Route 127, which is located two miles north of Elkmont. The ALEA reported that Wise was driving a Chevrolet Silverado when she left the roadway and overturned.

As of now, ALEA is continuing its investigation into the cause of this tragic accident. No further details have been released at this time.
