Victim Killed in Auto Pedestrian Accident on I-40 in Oklahoma City

Emergency crews have been called to the scene of a tragic auto pedestrian accident on I-40 in Oklahoma County. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-40 near Harrah Road on Wednesday morning.
The victim, who was struck by a semi-truck while on the side of I-40, has unfortunately passed away. The OHP and the Oklahoma City Fire Department are currently at the scene after receiving reports of a body in the road.
In response to this incident, all lanes of I-40 at Harrah Rd., which were temporarily closed due to the accident investigation, have now reopened as confirmed by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. However, drivers should still anticipate traffic delays in that area.
At this time, no further information is available regarding this heartbreaking accident.
