Blue Mound Man Killed in Head-On Collision in Kansas

A man from Blue Mound, Kansas lost his life in a tragic accident on Wednesday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) Crash Log, Denver Lee Reagan Jr., 45, was driving southbound on Kansas Highway 7 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Kenworth truck. The incident occurred roughly six miles south of Mound City.
The impact caused Reagan's Ford pickup to catch fire and come to rest in the south ditch. Unfortunately, he did not survive the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thankfully, the driver of the semi-truck involved in this collision did not suffer any injuries. He is identified as a 67-year-old man from Fulton.
As per standard procedure for fatal accidents like this one, an investigation will be conducted by KHP officials to determine what led up to this tragedy.
