Driver flown to a Pittsburgh hospital
A box truck crashed into a bar in Penn Township on Monday night, leaving the driver badly injured. The incident occurred at McBride Station located at 340 Pittsburgh Road around 9:38 p.m., according to Butler County 911 dispatchers.
Emergency crews including police, fire and EMS were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. "Breaking: emergency crews are here on Pittsburgh Rd in Penn Township where a box truck crashed into a bar. Police say the driver was hurt, flown to a hospital," tweeted an eyewitness.
The driver was flown to a nearby Pittsburgh hospital for treatment. However, no further details have been released about their condition or identity.
