A truck crash on Tuesday morning caused a slowdown in the eastbound traffic along Interstate 84. According to state police, a box truck overturned near Exit 55 around 3:50 a.m. The accident resulted in injuries and at least one person was taken to the hospital.
The state police public information office stated that "at least one victim was transported to an area hospital." The Department of Transportation reported that the crash had been cleared by approximately 9 a.m.
It is unclear what caused the accident or how many people were involved. Authorities have not released any further details regarding the incident.
