A box truck rollover on Wednesday morning resulted in the temporary closure of a section of Route 9 in Cromwell. The accident occurred between Exits 27 and 24, leading to the shutdown of southbound lanes. Fortunately, Connecticut State Police confirmed that only minor injuries were reported.
The incident took place during the early hours of Wednesday morning when a box truck traveling along Route 9 overturned, causing traffic disruptions and prompting authorities to close off the affected area. According to CT Roads, an official source for road conditions in Connecticut, southbound lanes between Exits 27 and 24 were temporarily shut down due to the crash.
Connecticut State Police swiftly responded to the scene and provided assistance to those involved. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries reported as a result of this unfortunate incident. Emergency medical services attended to those with minor injuries at the site itself.
