A cable car was involved in a traffic accident at the intersection of Washington Street and Taylor Street in San Francisco on Monday. According to a tweet from San Francisco Supervisor Aaron Peskin, seven people were injured in the incident. The San Francisco Fire Department has confirmed the injuries.

Emergency crews are currently at the scene, and people are being advised to avoid the area. The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management is also present to assist with the situation. As a result of this accident, traffic delays are expected, and commuters should allow for additional travel time or consider alternative routes.

Officials have stated that six of those injured have been transported to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, all injuries have been described as minor.
