Victim Pinned in Car Accident Near Downtown San Antonio

Victim taken to hospital in serious condition
Early Sunday morning, a single-vehicle accident occurred on I-37 at Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The victim was pinned inside their vehicle following the crash.
According to a patrol officer, "a single vehicle was traveling south on IH-37 when it crashed." Firefighters had to cut one person from the vehicle and they were taken to the hospital in serious condition. No information has been provided as to whether it was a man or a woman.
There was at least one other person inside the car during the time of the accident, but they were not injured. No other injuries have been reported and no further details have been provided.
Police blocked off the area while crews worked on clearing up after this incident.
