One person sent to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, another sent to Saint Francis Hospital in non-critical condition.

Police in Memphis, Tennessee reported a car crash that caused the closure of westbound lanes on I-240 and Perkins this morning. The incident involved three cars, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), who responded to the scene at around 5:28 a.m.

As per MPD's statement, "One person was sent to Regional One Hospital in critical condition." Meanwhile, another individual was transported to Saint Francis Hospital with non-critical injuries.

The identities of those involved have not been released yet. It is unclear what caused the accident or if any charges will be filed against anyone.

Authorities advised motorists to avoid the area while they worked on clearing up debris from the road. As of writing, it remains unknown when traffic flow will resume as normal.
