Two People Hospitalized Following Car Crash in Central Laredo

LAREDO, TX. (Accident.NEWS) - Two people were hospitalized following a car crash in central Laredo on Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Clark Boulevard and Hendricks Avenue.
The Laredo Fire Department reported that a car and an SUV both sustained heavy damage to the front of the vehicles. The drivers of each vehicle, a man and a woman, were trapped and had to be removed from their respective vehicles by firefighters.
According to fire officials, the woman is 25-years-old and is in critical condition, while the other driver is a 52-year-old man in serious condition. Both were taken to Laredo Medical Center for treatment.
No further details about the accident have been released at this time.
