One Dead, Others Injured in Franklin Car Crash

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has reported a fatal car crash that occurred in Franklin, Indiana early Saturday morning. According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, the accident happened in the 6600 block of East County Road 400 South at approximately 4:44 a.m.
The crash involved a single vehicle with three occupants. Two of the passengers were transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries, while the third person was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
As a result of the accident, there is currently no power in the surrounding area as of 7:26 a.m. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and further details will be added to the story as they become available.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information about the accident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
