Two Injured in Car Crash into Home in Center Point

Two individuals were injured on Wednesday when a car collided with a residence in Center Point. The incident occurred at approximately 5 p.m., as reported by local authorities. According to the police, a woman was operating the vehicle that crashed into the home located at 2801 2nd Street NW.
Tragically, one of the occupants inside the house became trapped beneath the car and had to be extricated. Subsequently, she was airlifted to UAB Hospital for medical treatment. At present, her condition remains unknown. Another person also sustained injuries during this unfortunate event; however, no details regarding their condition have been released thus far.
The impact of the collision caused significant structural damage to the residence. Authorities are considering condemning it due to safety concerns resulting from this accident.
