Car Crashes into Tienda Latina in Spartanburg

A business in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is currently undergoing cleanup after a car crashed into the front of the building. The incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on Thursday at Tienda Latina, located on Highway 29 at Blackstock Road near Westgate Mall.
The store's front window shattered and several items inside were damaged as a result. Fortunately, no injuries were reported by officials present during the incident.
According to authorities from Westview-Fairforest Fire, it was determined that an elderly driver mistakenly pressed down on the gas pedal instead of applying brakes. This error led to their vehicle colliding with Tienda Latina's storefront.
Following inspection, officials confirmed that there was no structural damage to the building. Once cleanup operations are finalized, it is expected that business will resume as usual for Tienda Latina.
