Car Crashes into Business in Toledo, Ohio

Emergency Medical Service personnel in Toledo, Ohio responded to a call on Wednesday night about a car crashing into a business on Reynolds Road. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m.
According to officials at the scene, the driver was traveling south on Reynolds Road, just south of Airport Highway. At some point, something distracted the driver and they attempted to stop. However, instead of hitting the brakes, they accidentally hit the accelerator and veered across Reynolds Road before colliding with the building.
The building affected by the crash is Re-Decor Resale Home Furnishings. Fortunately, both the car's airbags and safety features functioned properly and protected the driver from harm. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of this accident.
Authorities do not suspect any impairment on behalf of the driver involved in this incident. However, they have cited them for failure to control their vehicle.
