Car crashes into Chandler home

The driver was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Police are investigating a car crash that occurred on Monday night in Chandler, Arizona. According to authorities, the incident took place near Riggs and Gilbert roads around 8:30 p.m.
"Police said speed and impairment may have caused a car to crash into a Chandler home," reported an official statement from the department.
Video footage revealed significant damage to both the brick wall outside of the house and the front end of the vehicle involved. The driver, identified as an adult male, was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
As of now, there is no information available regarding any other individuals who may have been present at or inside of the residence during the time of impact.
