Car Crashes into Chevron Gas Station in Fultondale, No Injuries Reported

The gas station should be able to return to regular operations following repairs.
The Fultondale Fire and Rescue Service responded to an accident at a Chevron gas station off Walker Chapel Road on Saturday. A car had crashed into the building causing damage to its structure.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. However, city inspectors were called in to assess the extent of the damage caused by the crash.
According to a statement released by the FFRS, "the gas station should be able to return to regular operations following repairs."
It is unclear what caused the driver of the car to lose control and collide with the building. The investigation is ongoing.
Residents are advised to exercise caution when driving near this area until further notice.
