Driver taken to hospital, no injuries to anyone inside the home
A man from Ashby is recovering in the hospital after crashing his car into a home in Townsend, Massachusetts on Sunday evening. According to police, they received several calls about a car that had crashed into a house at 551 Main St. The driver, who has not been identified yet and is 38 years old, was the only person inside the vehicle. Fortunately, he managed to get out of the car by himself before emergency services arrived.
The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment after ambulances arrived at the scene. Meanwhile, no one inside the house suffered any injuries during this incident. However, there are concerns about structural damage caused by the crash until an inspector can evaluate it further.
Townsend police are currently investigating what led up to this accident and how it happened. A photo of the aftermath shows significant damage done to both the car and house involved in this collision.
