Car Crashes into Providence Restaurant, Injuring Seven

Several traffic violations issued to the driver
Seven people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday. According to reports, two cars collided on Chalkstone Avenue, causing one of them to smash through the storefront of El Eden Restaurant. At the time of the incident, there were employees and customers inside.
Three individuals from the vehicles involved in the collision and four bystanders were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. A sign posted on the boarded-up restaurant announced its closure for repairs until further notice.
Following an evaluation after the crash, it was determined that the driver responsible for hitting the building was neither impaired nor speeding during the incident. However, they did receive multiple traffic violations as a result.
