Woman in Serious Condition After Car Drives off Ledge and Lands on Roof in Nuuanu

A woman is in serious condition after her car drove off a ledge and landed on the roof of a home in Nuuanu, according to Honolulu EMS. The incident occurred around 10:30 am on Sunday at Mahalo Street. Upon arrival, the Honolulu Fire Department found the car resting on the roof of a single-family home.
EMS officials responded to the scene where they discovered that the driver was still trapped inside her vehicle. HFD upgraded their response to an auto-extrication due to the precarious location of the car and its lone occupant.
Fortunately, paramedics were able to safely extricate and treat the patient who appeared awake and talking with no major injuries reported.
