According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a tragic accident occurred near Seymour, MO resulting in the death of a baby boy. The incident took place on Tuesday evening at around 5:00 pm on Highway C, two miles north of Seymour.

The report states that a car collided with an Amish buggy while attempting to pass it from behind. As a result of the collision, the baby and two adults were thrown out of the buggy. Unfortunately, the baby did not survive while both adults sustained moderate injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Springfield.

No harm came to the driver of the car involved in this terrible accident.
