In the early hours of September 20, a motor vehicle collision involving a car and a train occurred in Fairview Township, York County. The incident resulted in one person being hospitalized.
Emergency response teams including Fairview Fire and Rescue, Lake Shore Fire Department, West County Paramedics, and Millcreek Paramedics were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1 a.m. According to reports from Fairview Fire and Rescue, Pennsylvania State Police were the first to arrive at the accident site.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered that one person was trapped inside the severely damaged car. Swift action was taken to extricate them from the vehicle safely. Subsequently, they were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
