Virginia State Police Investigate Fatal Tractor-Trailer Crash in Hampton
The Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal tractor-trailer crash that occurred on Tuesday morning, June 20th. The accident took place on Interstate 64 in Hampton near the Hampton Roads Center Parkway exit.
According to reports, at approximately 5:15 a.m., state troopers were called to the scene of the accident where they discovered that the driver of a 2017 Kenworth tractor-trailer had failed to turn with the exit ramp and ran off the roadway into a wooded area. The driver was identified as Antoni Allen Boston, aged 55 from Chesterfield County.
Unfortunately, Mr. Boston died from his injuries at the scene of the accident. His next of kin has been notified by authorities.
At this time, there is no further information available regarding what may have caused Mr. Boston's failure to navigate through the exit ramp properly or any other contributing factors leading up to this tragic incident.
