One child was pronounced dead, and four others were injured.
Memphis Police Department Responds to Fatal Multiple-Vehicle Crash
On Monday morning, Memphis Police Department responded to a multiple-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a child and left four other people injured. The incident occurred at Castleman Street and Knight Arnold Road at 8:10 a.m.
According to the Memphis Fire Department, five EMS units were dispatched to the scene. Three adults were transported to the hospital with non-critical injuries. However, two children were transported in critical condition to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
Sadly, one of the children later passed away due to their injuries. The other remains in critical condition as per MPD reports.
The identities of those involved have not been released yet by authorities.
