Collision Between Car and Semi-Truck Blocks Traffic on Northbound I-5 near SeaTac

A car and a semi-truck collided on northbound I-5 near SeaTac, causing traffic to come to a standstill for several hours. The accident occurred south of the 188th Street exit, leading to the closure of all lanes except for the HOV lane.
Photos posted on Twitter by Puget Sound Fire showed emergency responders working to remove a passenger from the car involved in the collision. Puget Sound Fire, along with South King Fire & Rescue and @KingCoMedicOne, were present at the scene of this injury accident.
Fortunately, by 6 p.m., authorities had cleared the collision and reopened all lanes of northbound I-5. However, significant delays were expected due to the earlier road closure.
Drivers in the area were advised to exercise caution and be patient as traffic congestion gradually eased following this incident.
