Unconscious Woman Shot in Colorado Springs Traffic Crash

Victim taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries

The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a traffic crash that turned into a shooting incident. The incident took place at North Academy and Galley, near the Citadel Mall on Saturday night around 11 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found an unconscious woman in one of the cars involved in the accident. It was later revealed that after a minor collision between two vehicles, the suspect shot multiple times into the victim’s car, with at least one shot hitting her. The victim was immediately rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

As of Sunday morning, no arrests have been made yet and investigations are still ongoing.
