Commercial Vehicle Loaded with Milk Overturns in Great Bend

A commercial vehicle carrying milk overturned in Great Bend, Kansas early Saturday morning, according to the Barton County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred at around 3 a.m. when sheriff's deputies responded to an injury accident at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and US 56.
Upon reaching the scene, deputies found a Kenworth truck tractor and a tank semi-trailer loaded with milk lying on its side in a nearby ditch. Investigators determined that the driver had failed to stop at the stop sign on Railroad Ave. and was unable to navigate the curve onto US 56, causing the truck to overturn.
Fortunately, both the driver and a passenger sustained only minor injuries. They were treated at the scene before being released.
The authorities have not provided any further details regarding potential charges or fines for the driver involved in this incident. It is also unclear if there were any other vehicles involved or if road conditions played a role in causing this accident.
