Ford F150 truck driver hospitalized after collision in Lancaster

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, a collision between a company truck and a pickup truck resulted in one person being taken to the hospital last week. The incident occurred on June 13th at Highway 35/61/81 at Highway 129 in Lancaster.
The driver of the Ford F150 was heading south on Highway 129 when they attempted to make a left turn without noticing the Hino Dohrn Transfer Company truck approaching from the north towards Highway 129. As a result, both vehicles collided, causing significant damage to both trucks as well as a highway road sign.
While it is unclear whether or not the other driver was evaluated for injuries sustained during this accident, it has been confirmed that the driver of the Ford was taken to a local hospital. Additionally, they were cited for failure to yield right of way.\
