One person injured in Spartanburg concrete truck accident

One person taken to hospital
A concrete truck overturned and collided with two other vehicles on Pine Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Daniel Morgan Avenue.
According to police reports, the concrete truck was traveling northbound on Pine Street when its weight shifted as it attempted to slow down. This caused the vehicle to overturn into the southbound lanes where it hit an 18-wheeler and another car.
The accident resulted in one person being taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Police went live on Facebook shortly after the crash to inform residents about what had happened.
All roads were reopened at 3 p.m.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into what caused this unfortunate incident that left one person injured and disrupted traffic flow for several hours.
